CNC Milling Machinist -- Fanuc/Doosan Specialist

Rockford, IL | Pay: $27.50 - $38.50/hour A day in the life

You arrive for second shift ready to build precision. You review the router and drawings for your first job, load the program, verify offsets on a Doosan mill, and run a first-piece check. Throughout the evening, you monitor cycle times, perform in-process inspections, and keep the cell running smoothly by troubleshooting minor issues, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with fellow operators to hit production goals.

What you will do

Set up and operate CNC mills and general machining equipment
Read/interpret blueprints, part drawings, and job routings
Load, unload, and manage machine programs
Inspect parts and complete in-process quality checks
Identify production concerns and share improvement ideas
Troubleshoot machine and production issues
Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Support team output and assist fellow operators as needed

What you bring

High School Diploma (required)
5+ years of CNC milling experience (required); Doosan experience preferred
Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints (required)
Hands-on experience with Fanuc controls (required)
Strong command of G & M code (required)

Schedule & employment details

Type: Full-Time, 2nd Shift, On-Site
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
