Are you experienced with CNC mills or lathes and looking for a company that values your skills? We're seeking a CNC Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. In this role, you'll operate CNC milling machines, inspect parts for quality, and support the production of precision-machined components.

What You'll Do

• Operate multiple CNC milling machines, including Doosan and Kia equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints to verify part specifications
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and measuring tools to inspect parts
• Perform machining operations including drilling, tapping, boring, and turning
• Load and unload materials and finished parts
• Sand, deburr, and finish parts as needed
• Monitor machine performance and make basic tool adjustments
• Maintain quality and production standards while operating multiple machines

What We're Looking For

✅ Experience operating CNC Mills or CNC Lathes

✅ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

✅ Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools

✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

✅ Ability to manage multiple machines and tasks efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Doosan, Kia, or similar CNC equipment
• Previous manufacturing or machining experience in a production environment
• Interest in learning advanced machine setup and tool adjustment skills

Paid Time Off

• 40 hours PTO after your first year
• 80 hours PTO after your second year
• Up to 160 hours PTO with continued service

Schedule2nd + 3rd Shift

2:30 PM - 11:00 PM OR 4:30 PM-3 AM

• 5% shift differential premium
• Consistent full-time hours
• Overtime available on a voluntary basis

Pay: $18-$25+ - depending on experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
