A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction ManagementDirect and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer demand.Monitor production performance and adjust resources as needed to achieve efficiency targets.Ensure production processes operate in accordance with established procedures and standards.Minimize downtime through proactive problem-solving and coordination with support departments.Review production reports and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).Team LeadershipSupervise, coach, and develop production employees, including disciplinary action.Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and accountability.Manage employee attendance, scheduling, and workforce planning.Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.Safety and CompliancePromote and maintain a strong safety culture.Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.Conduct safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations.Identify and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors.Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Quality AssuranceEnsure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with Quality personnel to maintain compliance with quality systems.Monitor scrap, rework, and defect rates and drive improvements.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance.Support continuous improvement initiatives.Lead problem-solving activities and root-cause analyses.Implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.Communication and CoordinationCommunicate production goals, priorities, and expectations to employees.Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Management teams.Participate in production meetings and provide operational updates.Maintain accurate records and reports related to production activities.Qualifications and SkillsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Will consider education in progress.Experience3–5 years of manufacturing experience required.Minimum of 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment strongly preferred.Skills and CompetenciesStrong leadership and employee development skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems.Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.Physical RequirementsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.Ability to wear required PPE and work around production equipment.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Safety performance and incident ratesProduction output and schedule attainmentQuality metrics and defect ratesEmployee productivity and engagementLabor efficiency and overtime controlScrap and waste reductionEquipment uptime and operational effectivenessThe pay range for this position is $63,000. - $106,000. in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
