Mechanical Design Engineer With CreoImmediate need for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer with Creo. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years of experience designing electronic enclosures.Design and deliver next-generation networking systems (modular and fixed chassis) and cards that meet customer requirements.Develop innovative mechanical solutions using sheet metal, plastic, and die-cast materials that comply with EMI, safety, and other standards.Create 3D CAD models using Creo or NX and detailed drawings applying GD&T principles.Perform 2D tolerance analysis for complex electro-mechanical assemblies.Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to resolve design issues impacting field or production.Exchange PCB design IDF files with ECAD/hardware teams and address mechanical integrity concerns.Host peer and cross-functional design reviews.Proficiency in 3D MCAD tools (Creo/NX).Experience with sheet metal design for mid to high volumes, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.Strong knowledge of sheet metal, plastic, and die-cast tooling.Our client is a leading IT Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
