You will be the Manufacturing Test Engineering Manager - Level 5 for the Enterprise Production Engineering team which is responsible for leading testequipment strategy, acquisition, and lifecycle management across Aeronautics.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Test Engineering Manager - Level 5 you will be responsible for guiding a team of Test Engineers, overseeing testequipment programs, and driving digitaltransformation initiatives that increase equipment availability and reduce cycle time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Direct staffing, hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and career development for the Test Engineering team.


• Prioritize, schedule, and monitor testequipment projects to ensure ontime, highquality delivery while navigating sitespecific processes and security requirements.


• Lead digitaltransformation efforts: evaluate emerging technologies, automate manual workflows, and integrate datadriven tools that improve equipment uptime.


• Provide technical leadership for rootcause analysis, correctiveaction implementation, and predictive monitoring to prevent issues before they impact production.


• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers, translating requirements into clear operational roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience considered

Experience with Business Metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality)

Experience with Project Management, Project Engineering, &/or Program Management

Engineering, Design or TestEngineering experience developing, qualifying, or validating equipment, systems, or processes.

Experience as a Team Lead (formal or informal)

Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
Desired Skills:
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and improve complex testequipment systems.
Experience developing and executing strategic processimprovement initiatives.
Background in contracts, changemanagement, or bid/proposal preparation.
Familiarity with subcontractorrelated business processes such as invoicing, billing, and funding.
Excellent verbal and written communication for daily interaction with peers, internal/external customers, management, and production technicians.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced test environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
Quick learner who works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Selfmotivated, proactive, and enjoys tackling challenging problems.
Active Secret clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
