Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing both standardized tests and observational methods.
• Create customized treatment strategies that target immediate goals along with long-term communication and swallowing challenges.
• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions that focus on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing therapy.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to implement well-rounded treatment plans.
• Provide education to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond the therapy setting.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure smooth transitions in care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation compliant with all regulations.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in speech-language pathology through continuous learning and peer engagements.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the onboarding period.
