The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. This position will make significant contributions in cost accounting, new business proposals, general accounting requirements, and ad hoc reporting. Key responsibilities Supports fixed asset and general cost accounting activities for the facility Handles various month end responsibilities such as account reconciliations and journal entries Will support legal entity requests, IRS tax reconciliations, and annual tax schedules Assists in completing the monthly forecast and annual long range planning processes Supports acquisition of new customer programs through business case analysis and quoting processes. Performs other routine duties and ad hoc reports with analysis would be required as directed by the Finance Manager. Expected to embrace continuous improvement and make contributions towards implementing changes in our systems and processes to increase productivity. Demonstrates effective problem solving techniques. Supports the role accounting/finance plays in the overall success of the business. Actively pursues changes in technology that may impact the long term of the business. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information. Works as an effective team player and team contributor. Pursues learning other aspects of the business and products. Provides effective customer service that is timely and accurate. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent discipline preferred SAP and OneStream software applications knowledge highly preferred 3-5 years related work experience in Accounting, preferably in a Manufacturing Setting, is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Must have the ability to process significant amounts of data entry in a timely and accurately manner. Attendance on the job is essential. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.
