We are hiring someone with dual skill sets! Specifically, expediter and support.

Responsibilities will vary depending on the specific role, but may include:

Expediter: 
Coordinate food flow between kitchen and service to ensure and efficient operations.
Communicate clearly and effectively between teams to maintain alignment and urgency.
Execute accurate and timely delivery of each plate, ensuring proper presentation and readiness.
Uphold high standards of quality, consistency and overall guest satisfaction. 

 

Support :

• Prepare the dining area for service, including setting tables with linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently as guests finish their meals.
• Assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread, and providing additional items as requested.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and surrounding areas throughout service.
• Support dishwashing staff by scraping, stacking, or loading dishes as needed.
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner.
• Ensure the accuracy and presentation of each dish before delivery.
• Communicate with kitchen staff regarding orders and any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and ingredients.
• Uphold food health and safety standards.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina and strength to stand for extended periods, lift and carry trays (up to 25 lbs+), and navigate a busy dining area.
• Basic math skills and comfort with handling cash and processing payments.
• Knowledge of POS TOAST systems is a plus.
• Active Serv safe and basset certifications a MUST
