Expeditor

S.K.Y. 2.0 IS seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our dynamic team. The Expeditor is the bridge between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring orders are prepared, plated, and delivered with speed, accuracy, and exceptional presentation. This role demands stamina, precision, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare your station before service with all required equipment, sauces, garnishes, and other chef-specified items.

• Ensure smooth and efficient communication between waitstaff and kitchen.

• Maintain correct timing and prioritization of orders.

• Assist with sauces, garnishes, and final plate touches.

• Verify presentation, temperature, and accuracy before sending orders to the dining room.

• Work with food runners, servers, and available staff to deliver dishes promptly, preserving peak quality.

• Keep your area clean and organized in compliance with sanitation standards.

• Relay important updates and instructions between kitchen and service staff with urgency.

• Assist with to-go orders and other kitchen needs as required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a high-volume restaurant environment, preferably as a Food Expeditor.

• Strong understanding of health, food safety, and sanitation rules.

• Ability to use kitchen equipment, carry multiple dishes, direct others professionally, and multi-task under pressure.

• Commitment to supporting an exceptional guest experience.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
