We are looking for a Director of Business Development to pursue new clients nationally, to sit on-site in our Bellevue, WA office. Industry-leading performance-based bonus program 100% employer-funded ESOP to all associates Traditional and Roth 401k 1-month paid sabbatical after every five years of employment, plus $5,000 for travel 3 weeks of vacation 1-week paid volunteer leave each year and 100% charitable match Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage 100% paid 12-week maternity leave Scholarship for associates’ children up to $28,000 per child Tuition reimbursement for associates A DAY IN THE LIFE Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top of mind awareness Research and analyze key economic factors that may influence market activity within specific niche markets or geographic areas Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with new clients and prospects Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with ARCO’s marketing, project management, and operations management teams Travel as needed, up to 40% NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS 5-10 years of new business development experience Highly prefer business development experience via cold calling Highly prefer direct sales experience in light industrial/manufacturing, commercial, food & beverage, or cold storage Highly prefer design-build experience Proficiency in business development software (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Pipedrive) MAKE YOUR MOVE ARCO is a premier, full-service design-build general contractor with more than 30 years of experience providing clients with complete project delivery nationwide.
