About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operations Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its various operational functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving program development, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a strong focus on the mission of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role requires a leader with a Master's degree in a related field, at least 5 years' experience in operations oversight, and a proven track record in leadership development, data analytics, and building relationships with business and government partners. The COO will also be tasked with setting and monitoring KPIs, optimizing performance, and promoting a culture of quality and innovation. Key responsibilities for the Chief Operations Officer include guiding and supervising the organization's program departments, maintaining a strong working relationship with the Board of Directors, and integrating a person-centered support philosophy throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with compliance regulations, particularly those related to OPWDD and Justice Center, and a background in program leadership at the Director level within non-profit organizations serving vulnerable populations. Core competencies for this position include being mission-focused, a brand steward, results-driven, and having a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role also demands a leader who can instill trust, is interpersonally savvy, and is dedicated to the professional development of their team.
