POSITION OVERVIEW

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for resolving escalated and complex benefits questions and concerns from the Benefits Call Center Representative, working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and effective issue resolution. They process third‑party vendor invoices and address minor discrepancies, handle the documentation, processing, and reconciliation of weekly benefit premium payments for employees on leave of absence, and assist with required filings and documentation such as QMCSO. The coordinator also ensures all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Resolve escalated and complex benefits questions and concerns from the Benefits Call Center Representative, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and effective issue resolution. Process third‑party vendor invoices on a timely and accurate basis, ensuring that all data is correctly entered into the system. Research and resolve minor discrepancies or errors related to invoice amounts and vendor details. Document, process, and reconcile weekly benefit premium payments for employees on leave of absence. Ensure carriers have accurate demographic and structure‑related data at all times. Support the administration of the company’s education programs, including education assistance requests, invoicing, and other tasks. Assist with required documentation and filings such as QMCSO. Ensure benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA). Perform other duties as assigned. Travel: Minimally, as required (typically less than 10%).
