Client Relationship Consultant 1 (Banker) - Tampa & Nordhoff - Northridge CA

Responsibilities Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers across multiple channels, including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually, to provide the best possible counsel while embracing a digital‑first mindset. Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing their information. Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and recommend solutions based on each customer’s goals. Build and nurture relationships through proactive outreach, follow‑up, and learning about client financial needs and channel preferences. Identify and communicate solutions for new and existing clients. Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings. Provide a consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Collaborate with branch team members to serve clients effectively. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet their financial needs. Leverage resources and technology to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Typically a minimum of one to two years of retail banking experience or comparable training. Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Preferred Skills Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up. Effective engagement and communication with clients. Basic knowledge of applicable bank policies, procedures, and support systems. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience with digital products and self‑service technologies. Ability to identify and meet a customer’s true needs with a digital‑first mindset. Proficiency in making appropriate recommendations for both reactive and proactive needs. Experience in the financial services industry (preferred). Location Requirements This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.
