Job Description Responsibilities Human Resources Generalist Compass Intervention Center has been providing psychiatric services to the Memphis area for more than -years. Compass Intervention Center is located in Southwest Tennessee. This convenient location provides access to larger communities in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. We work with children and families throughout the United States, including military families overseas. Compass Intervention Center is a free‑standing residential treatment center open to male and female children and adolescents from ages to . , , and are available to male and female adolescents ages to . Compass offers a full continuum of care for psychiatric treatment of adolescents and is the only facility in the State of Tennessee that offers every level of care to adolescents. Created to serve adolescents between the ages of and years old, the Acute Adolescent Program offers treatment for psychiatric and emotional problems. Website: The HR Generalist: The HR Generalist assists in multiple areas of HR including recruitment, employee relations, retention strategies, and performance management. This role also assists with departmental compliance with facility, legal, and regulatory requirements. Plans and organizes a system of personnel record keeping that is efficient and protects the confidentiality of employee records. Leads the recruitment process for the facility, posts job requisitions, screens candidates, makes offers of employment, and follows the process to hire, schedules, notifies, and prepares proper paperwork for the New Employee Orientation Program. Conducts the personnel portion of the orientation process. Job Duties/Responsibilities Performs full cycle recruitment for assigned positions. Assists with engagement and retention programs including the onboarding program. Helps coordinate and prepare for New Hire Orientation, staff onboarding requirements, and maintenance of staff education requirements. Performs HR file audits to ensure regulatory compliance. A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
