Wire Cutting Warehouse Senior Associate

DSG is seeking a Wire Cutting Warehouse Senior Associate in our Fargo, ND location. In this full time, hourly position, work is typically performed between the hours of 8 AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, but may vary on occasion according to business needs. As a Warehouse Senior Associate, you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, including but not limited to: order pulling, shipping & receiving, putting product away, handling and preparing product for shipment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment. Warehouse Senior Associates have demonstrated years of experience performing warehouse operations tasks and/or are responsible for specific skilled operations within the warehouse operations. The main focus of this role will be in wire cutting.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Wire Cutting Warehouse Senior Associate at DSG:

• Assist in wire cutting.
• Notifies Branch Manager about shortages or overages in inventory.
• Uses computer and/or RF gun to check on status, availability, and location of product.
• Accurately pulls material from location to fill each order.
• Pack, label, and place filled orders in proper location for delivery.
• Regular operation of warehouse equipment (forklift, picker, turret, etc., training/certification provided).
• Ensures a clean, safe working environment: sweeps and mops floors, cleans and dusts shelves, sorts and dumps trash in appropriate bins.
• Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
• Work with fellow warehouse associates to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Loads delivery trucks as needed.
• Handle calls for warehouse when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

A Successful Wire Cutting Warehouse Senior Associate Typically Has:

• Advanced product and warehouse knowledge that would normally be acquired in five or more years of applicable wire cutting experience.
• Safety training on material handling and forklift driving.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis, and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
