Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while also connecting via telehealth for client sessions. However, our outpatient office in Antioch will serve as a secondary space for occasional in-person meetings or team activities. The team is composed of multidisciplinary professionals who ensure a collaborative environment focused on holistic client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, adhering to both legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans that reflect the diverse needs of clients.

• Actively participate in professional development workshops, staying informed on the latest research and emerging trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals and families from various backgrounds with limited access to mental health resources. Your expertise will help address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Empowering clients on their path to recovery and well-being will be a key focus of your practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is essential.

• Proficient understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practices.
