Join Our Team as a Sterile Instrument Technician!

Job Description:

- Role: Sterile Instrument Technician
- Department/Cost Center: 200227 Sterile Processing
- Shift: 3x12, Sun-Mon-Tue, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Call Requirements: To Be Discussed During Interview

Position Highlights:

- Under the supervision of Sterile Processing Manager and Supervisors, you will:
- Process and prepare multi-specialty and general surgery instrumentation.
- Provide quality sterile trays, surgical instruments, packs, and medical supplies.
- Clean patient equipment for a dynamic department operating 24/7.

Your Impact:

- Serve a vital role within the Surgical Services Department and beyond!
- Ensure the hospital functions smoothly by providing essential instrumentation and equipment.
- Tackle challenges like learning diverse and evolving instruments and procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of sterility and safety for all processed equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Clean, assemble, and sterilize instruments meticulously.
- Serve as a resource and support to operating room personnel and outside vendors.
- Monitor and manage instrumentation needs, maintaining quality assurance standards.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, industry, and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Maintain proper patient charges related to sterile processing throughout the network.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience required.
- Certifications: CSPDT or CRCST certification required.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to varying schedules and additional responsibilities.
