About the Role Retirement Operations Implementation Specialist I coordinates setup of new plans and transfer of assets, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and seamless transition to permanent servicing teams. Responsibilities Accurate and timely plan and investment set‑up in the recordkeeping system. Obtain plan details, import and reconcile conversion data. Review work to ensure plan conversion accuracy. Escalate conversion issues and concerns appropriately. Ensure accurate employer reports and participant statements post‑conversion. Identify special plan needs for permanent service team. Understand system operations and report information effectively. Build subject‑matter expertise on retirement processes and regulations. Participate in meetings and maintain knowledge of all relevant systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent experience. 1+ year of defined contribution plan administration or implementation. Familiarity with retirement and recordkeeping systems. Strong collaboration, client interaction and end‑user communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables). Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast‑paced environment. Problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently while supporting a team.
