Product Design Engineer

We are seeking a hands‑on Product Design Engineer to develop and improve mechanical products from initial concept through design, prototyping, testing, and production. Key Requirements Proven experience taking mechanical products from concept through production Strong proficiency with SolidWorks Experience designing sheet metal and/or injection‑molded plastic components Strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles Experience creating detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and production documentation Experience with tolerance stack-ups and basic FEA, stress, and thermal analysis Hands‑on experience with prototyping, testing, validation, and design troubleshooting Ability to work closely with manufacturing teams and suppliers to resolve design and production issues Experience with airflow, ventilation, fans, HVAC, or related mechanical products is highly desirable Lean/Six Sigma or continuous‑improvement experience is a plus What You’ll Do Design and develop new mechanical products and components Create and revise 3D models, drawings, and BOMs Build and evaluate prototypes Perform product testing and design validation Support the transition of new designs into manufacturing Troubleshoot product and production issues Improve existing products for performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost 401(k) with 100% company match on the first 8% contributed 100% match on eligible age‑50+ catch‑up contributions Bonus opportunity Stable, privately owned organization Financially strong company with no debt Long‑term growth and development opportunity Product Design Engineer Sherwood, AR 72120 | 100% Onsite We are seeking a hands‑on Product Design Engineer to develop and improve mechanical products from initial concept through design, prototyping, testing, and production.
