Storeroom Clerk

Full job description As a Storeroom Clerk at our Kansas City, KS facility you’ll have a passion for inventory control and a vision for excellent results. You will manage inventory, collaborate with vendors, ensure timely availability of parts, and work closely with our maintenance teams. This role will work on 3rd shift and includes working 2 weekends out of the month. The pay for this role is $31.25 an hour with overtime available. This role is a great way to begin a long‑term career within plant operations. High performing individuals can grow into higher leveled roles within operations, logistics, or production. Responsibilities Ensuring Performance – Complete all K‑Buy and SAP transactions for receiving parts, entering, and managing BOM’s, and functions associated with inventory control. Order and maintain Production ink supplies, machine oil, belt dressing, etc. and other Storeroom‑related duties as assigned. Procurement – Order, track, and receive crucial parts to keep our operation running through the use of the SAP system. Inventory – Help keep things organized by ensuring physical inventory and ensuring adjustments are made, while also storing and maintaining all parts in correct bin locations and verifying parts are issued correctly. Teamwork – Work with supervisors, technicians, and engineers on the procurement of parts for shutdown and routine maintenance activities. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED with substantial related work experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment. Experience with maintenance planning software or inventory planning software. Shift and Compensation Work 3rd shift with 2 weekends per month. Pay $31.25 per hour with overtime available.
