About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during either a day shift (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM) or night shift (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM), each 10 hours in length, on an on-site basis. The clinician will work alongside a physician team structured across five concurrent shifts - two 10-hour MD day shifts, two 12-hour MD day/extended shifts, and one overnight MD shift - supporting a high-volume inpatient environment with a total team census of approximately 93 encounters per day. No procedures are required, as this is a straight inpatient coverage role. Tennessee DEA, CDS, and Prescriptive Authority are required; board certification is required for this assignment.
