Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), a minimum of 2 years of experience, willingness to wait for license to submit, and license to practice in the state
• Responsibilities include caring for postpartum mothers, well babies, and managing deliveries in a high-volume obstetric unit. No circulating C-sections or care for babies in the neonatal intensive care unit is required, but candidates must be skilled in postpartum and well-baby care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to postpartum with mothers only, cannot do babies.
• Documenting and charting must be completed in the Paragon system.
• Cancellations may occur up to 4 times per 13-week contract, or 3 times if contracted for 12 weeks or less; cancellations may involve full shifts or parts of shifts, with possible full shift pay in lieu of cancellation.
