This role involves providing specialized nursing care on a Medical-Surgical unit with a focus on orthopedic, inpatient rehab, and telemetry patients. The position requires a commitment to patient safety and high-quality care, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and clinical expertise.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Provides patient care for Medical-Surgical and Inpatient Rehabilitation patients, including those with total joint replacements, strokes, and medical conditions. Responsible for administering treatments, monitoring telemetry, and performing routine nursing duties.
• Required Qualifications:
  RN license, BLS Certification, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, experience in orthopedic and telemetry nursing preferred, located within commuting distance, and open to night shifts.
• Schedule:
  Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Unit staffing maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 for Medical-Surgical and 1:6 for Inpatient Rehab. Nurses will operate telehealth monitors, troubleshoot RT equipment such as nebulizers and CPAP machines, and participate in ongoing classroom and precepted shifts to ensure smooth transition into the role.
• Submission Requirements:
  Candidates must pass a basic rhythm course and hold BLS certification.
