Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract position is located near Des Plaines, IL and calls for two bilingual (Spanish and English) SLP-CCC professionals. Working across two schools in an itinerant capacity, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams, develop creative solutions, and help shape the future for K-12 learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
• Active Illinois SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• Experience in school-based settings and comfort with varying age groups/caseloads
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload, averaging about 45 students per workload model (state cap at 60)
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Work across two schools within the district in an itinerant role, adapting to each school’s unique culture and needs
• Maintain thorough documentation for all services, progress, and required reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and parent conferences
• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate therapy and support
