The Residential Care Associate I provides caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients, personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, transportation, and documentation of services under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit. Wages, benefits and working conditions are as per the collective bargaining agreement. Training Program With our MHACBO‑accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental‑health certifications while attending required paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision. Work Schedule Friday through Monday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Part Time, Swing) What You’ll Make $21.42- $22.07 per hour DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates. What You’ll Need Caregiving and/or mental‑health experience (personal or professional) – preferred. Dedication to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete their activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs). Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; ability to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of hire and pass a DHS criminal background check. Physical Demands This position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds. Occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel and perform other physical tasks. You must complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings. About the Program Fieldstone is a co‑ed, 5‑bed Residential Treatment Home that serves adults living with a mental illness. Facilities include private bedrooms with bathrooms, a community gathering area, kitchen and a therapeutic environment.
