Staff Accountant

Location: Eagan, MN (Onsite, Full-Time) Compensation: Up to $80,000 + Bonus + Profit Sharing Why This Opportunity Stands Out 100% employer-paid health insurance, including dependent coverage 401(k) with up to 5% match plus annual profit sharing Discretionary bonus opportunity High-trust environment with extremely low turnover Direct exposure to leadership and strong mentorship Opportunity to play a key role in system upgrades and process modernization Hands-on involvement in a growing organization with evolving operations Broad responsibilities across accounting, payroll, and process improvement Stable company within construction materials and industrial services What You’ll Do Manage daily AP/AR activities and maintain general ledger accuracy Prepare journal entries, accruals, and support month-end close Assist with payroll processing for union and non-union employees Reconcile accounts and support basic financial reporting Participate in system migration (Sage 50 to Sage 100) and process automation initiatives Support operational and cross-functional projects as needed What You Bring 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in a small business setting Strong knowledge of AP/AR, payroll, and month-end processes Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hands-on environment Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working onsite Experience with Sage or similar accounting systems preferred
