The Sales District Manager (SDM) is responsible for leading a sales district consisting of 10-25 Route Sales Representatives (RSRs), overseeing a business valued at $5-15 million. The SDM plays a crucial role in providing administrative and technical support while fostering team collaboration. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities Cultivate relationships with customers (store management) and effectively implement sales strategies and initiatives. Lead district meetings that focus on achieving sales objectives and goals. Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with RSRs to enhance performance, selling techniques, and customer service skills. Guide RSRs in maximizing sales opportunities, both baseline and promotional. Analyze and interpret statistical data using PepsiCo-specific tools. Collaborate with the product supply team to ensure accurate forecasting based on promotions and historical performance, ensuring product availability. Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers as needed. Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically. Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $73,600 - $123,150. Actual salary will depend on location, job-related skills, experience, and education, with details provided during the hiring process. Performance-based bonus eligibility targets 15% of annual salary, paid quarterly. Eligible for paid time off, including parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement. This role includes mileage reimbursement as per company policy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience managing frontline employees. Experience in consumer packaged goods within a Direct Store Delivery environment. Highly motivated individual with exceptional communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow-up skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) certification. Safe driving record strongly preferred.
