Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform initial patient assessments to determine acuity and develop a tailored plan of care.
  
  
• 
  Execute nursing interventions and modify care plans based on ongoing patient evaluations.
  
  
• 
  Document all nursing actions accurately and in accordance with departmental standards.
  
  
• 
  Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal care.
  
  
• 
  Offer feedback and support to peers to foster a collaborative and professional work environment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an Illinois RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of three (3) years of relevant emergency nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, high-stakes healthcare setting.
