Business Development Manager - Steel Erection (Midwest)

Business Development ManagerWe're hiring a Business Development Manager for an AISC-certified steel erector based in Michigan. You'll grow the company's work across the Midwest and Central US, focused on large-scale structural steel erection projects of 5,000 tons and up.Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 base plus bonus incentives.Responsibilities:Identify and win large steel erection projects with general contractors, fabricators, owners, and developers across the MidwestBuild and maintain relationships with key contractors and fabricatorsTrack upcoming projects and bid opportunities, and maintain a strong pipelinePartner with estimating and operations on proposals, pricing strategy, and scope reviewsRepresent the company at industry events, associations, and client meetingsRequirements:Business development or sales experience in steel erection or structural steel constructionTrack record pursuing large projects of 5,000+ tonsEstablished network of Midwest general contractors and fabricatorsSolid understanding of erection means and methods, scheduling, and safetyWilling to travel throughout the MidwestAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
