Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:6. Approximately half of scheduled shifts will include weekends. 19-bed unit with maximum census of 20 patients.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical / Telemetry unit with 18 private rooms and one semi-private room
• Diverse patient population ranging from young adults through geriatrics with broad range of care needs
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system with telemetry monitoring capabilities on the unit and remotely
• 91-day travel assignment with orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Texas or Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance, port access, blood product administration, and wound care
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
• Previous staff members must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
