Job Description Job Description Job Title: Concrete Foreman Job Description The Concrete Foreman oversees a crew of up to five operators and laborers to complete framing, concrete pours, and finishing work safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role maintains project schedules, coordinates closely with the superintendent, manages materials and inventory, and ensures accurate reporting and productivity tracking on active job sites. Responsibilities Create and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure all framing, concrete pours, and finishing activities are completed on time. Manage and lead a crew of up to five people, including operators and laborers, providing clear direction and daily guidance. Run morning meetings to review goals, assign tasks, and communicate safety expectations and productivity targets. Work hand-in-hand with the superintendent to coordinate field activities and keep projects running smoothly. Order materials and equipment as needed and maintain accurate inventory records to avoid delays. Submit daily or regular reports and track jobsite progress, documenting work completed and any issues that arise. Ensure all crew members follow established safety procedures and protocols during framing, pours, and finishing work. Oversee and participate in concrete work, including installation, concrete finishing, and related tasks as needed. Maintain high standards of quality for all concrete work, including proper setup, pours, and finishing techniques. Communicate effectively in both Spanish and English with crew members and project stakeholders to coordinate work and resolve issues. Monitor productivity throughout the day, adjust work plans as needed, and take corrective action to keep the crew on schedule. Drive to various job sites using a personal vehicle and represent the company professionally at all times. Essential Skills At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role on a concrete crew. Proven experience managing a crew of approximately five people in the field. Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to direct and motivate a crew. Extensive hands-on experience with concrete work, including framing, pours, installation, and finishing. Ability to create, maintain, and adjust project schedules for concrete-related activities. Experience ordering and managing materials and equipment and maintaining accurate inventory. Comfort and proficiency in writing reports and tracking jobsite progress. Ability to enforce and maintain safety procedures and protocols on active job sites. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with crews in both languages. Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites. Ability to work 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a foreman or lead role on concrete framing, pouring, and finishing projects. Demonstrated ability to run productive morning meetings and set clear daily expectations. Strong organizational skills for managing timelines, materials, and crew assignments.Ability to document and communicate jobsite issues clearly to the superintendent and other stakeholders. Work Environment This role is entirely field-based at active client job sites, focusing on concrete pours, framing, and finishing while leading a small crew and managing timelines. The standard schedule runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays based on project needs. You are expected to drive your own vehicle to various job sites and maintain a valid driver’s license.
