Civil Engineer

Lansing Engineering, PC, a multi-disciplinary firm specializing in all aspects of land development, has immediate opportunities for experienced civil engineers to support our land development team located in Malta, NY. Responsibilities will include: Working with multiple design teams to support civil design projects from concept planning through detailed design and construction Field work, including soil investigations and testing Preparation of project plans including, but not limited to, general plans, grading plans, drainage plans, erosion and sediment control plans, profiles, signing and striping plans, and landscape plans Preparation of storm water management design, water and wastewater design, roadway and parking design and construction details and specifications Preparation of technical reports Preparation of application documents and agency coordination Construction administration support, including site visits & stormwater pollution prevention plan weekly inspections Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required 4-6 years of experience Professional Engineering license in New York state or ability to obtain within one year Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software Technical writing and solid verbal and written communication skills Ability to work and interact effectively with project teams.
