Business Development Manager - Aviation Chemicals - MRO

Our client is an expanding global supplier of aviation materials and consumables for MRO applications. They require an experienced Aviation MRO sales professional to drive new customer development and market expansion in the south Florida region and elsewhere in the southeast United States. The successful candidate will work remotely from a home office located in the greater Miami/Ft. Lauderdale region. A home office in this area is a requirement for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships by representing innovative product and service offerings for aviation MRO applications.
• Deliver clear selling messages and value propositions for all product lines including adhesives, paints, lubricants, tapes, cleaners, composites and other consumables.
• Work closely with customers to deliver tailored supply solutions including just-in-time delivery and on-site consignment programs.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers including airlines, MROs, OEMs and other strategic accounts.
• Create effective territory and account growth plans.
• Promote the company's digital and supply-chain solutions.
• Become a trusted resource for customers by delivering a high level of responsiveness and service.
• Collaborate effectively with inside sales and technical teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of successful sales experience for an aviation MRO supplier or industrial distributor.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related is desirable.
• Basic understanding of the consumable materials used in aviation repair and maintenance.
• Strong customer relationship building skills.
• Ability to work independently from a home office located in south Florida.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required to visit customer sites, and attend trade shows and conference.
