Make a difference in the lives of students by serving as an onsite Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. Work closely with students in Autistic Support classrooms, supported by dedicated PCA staff, fostering growth and learning in an inclusive environment. This contract role is set to begin as soon as possible and continues through May 27, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.

Qualifications:

• Holds a valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate (required)
• Experienced or passionate about supporting students with autism spectrum disorder
• Has strong communication skills and collaborates well with teammates and families
• Demonstrates adaptability, patience, and a commitment to personalized instruction
• Ready for onsite engagement and positive contribution to school culture

Responsibilities:

• Design and adapt lesson plans to meet each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Provide direct instruction, support, and positive behavioral strategies in Autistic Support rooms
• Collaborate with paraprofessional (PCA) staff to maximize student engagement and progress
• Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams regarding student development
• Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and documentation as required
