About This Role Ampacity is seeking an Associate Project Manager (APM) to support our continued growth in commercial and utility-scale solar construction. This is an entry-level role for a candidate who is passionate about renewable energy and eager to grow within a company known for its strong culture and commitment to work/life balance. The APM works closely with Project Managers to support all phases of solar construction projects, including scheduling, budget management, safety compliance, and client relationship management. The role spans multiple concurrent projects at various stages and locations, requiring someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. This is a field-based position requiring 100% travel to project sites. What You’ll Do Coordinate across multiple concurrent projects by liaising with Project Managers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to keep timelines, objectives, and deliverables on track. Partner with the operations team to proactively troubleshoot issues and respond to unforeseen challenges before they impact project milestones. Engage with engineers, architects, and construction personnel to support effective project planning and execution, including managing subcontractor recommendations and onboarding. Work closely with Supply Chain to monitor material availability and flag potential procurement risks early. Support budget development, scheduling preparation, and contract reviews in collaboration with senior Project Managers. Ensure adherence to safety regulations across all assigned project sites and escalate concerns promptly. Maintain accurate project records, databases, and documentation to support reporting and decision-making. Provide regular progress updates to management and Project Managers, surfacing risks and recommending solutions as needed.
