Medical Assistant
GOAL FAMILY MEDICAL PC
Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. You will also triage -- obtain vital signs, EKG, urinalysis etc. Deal Breakers: * Not hardworking * Always on the phone * cannot multitask * cannot work independently * has no basic knowledge of medicine or medical jargon * not reliable * late * not a team player. Responsibilities: * Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner * Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff * Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures * Triage patients and be responsible for inventory keeping. Qualifications: * Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields * Familiarity with medical billing procedures * Strong organizational skills * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * A Team player * Friendly and kind Company Description GOAL Family Medical PC is a private medical office.
