Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

Pay: $120000.00 - $165000.00 per year

Location: New York City NY. Enjoy a remote-friendly hybrid schedule with a maximum of 2 to 3 office days per week.

Note: You must have active New York bar admission and 3 years of labor and employment law experience. Connecticut admission is a plus not a requirement.

Job Description

• Represent employees and employers in employment litigation and administrative proceedings.
• Negotiate severance agreements and executive compensation arrangements.
• Draft legal documents manage discovery and help prepare matters for hearings and trial.
• Defend discrimination charges and employment-related lawsuits.
• Advise business clients on workplace policies and everyday labor and employment issues.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active New York bar admission.
• 3 years of directly relevant labor and employment law experience.
• Strong legal research writing and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organization time management and client relationship skills.
• Connecticut bar admission is preferred. Qualified law firm in-house and solo practice backgrounds are welcome.
