PTMS/Propulsion Controls Engineer - Level 3

Job Description Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and verification of the F35 Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) and the Power Thermal Management System (PTMS) Update, along with continued support of the baseline fielded Propulsion and PTMS. Further Information About This Opportunity Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance. The position is located at a Lockheed Martin facility in Fort Worth, TX. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer Experience with MATLAB/Simulink scripting and modeling and C, C++, C#, or a related language Experience with software requirements development Experience with software/hardware integration and testing Desired Skills Active Secret Government Security Clearance Experience with Agile methodologies Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and team‑based environment Experience with Jira, Git, GitLab, and CI/CD concepts Experience with Visual Studio Knowledge of embedded computer architectures and hardware Experience with SIMON test development environments Strong problem‑solving skills, inquisitive, analytical, detail‑oriented Enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance.
