About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive leadership team. The COO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for translating the company's vision into operational execution and overseeing the core functions of the business, including sales, rental, service, parts, logistics, and fleet management. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving operational excellence, implementing scalable processes and systems, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth. Key responsibilities for the COO include strategic leadership, operational excellence, process improvement, team leadership, operations management, data-driven decision-making, asset and inventory management, financial stewardship, and support for strategic growth initiatives. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' of progressive leadership experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or industrial distribution environments. A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required, with an MBA strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of dealership operations, including rental fleets, depreciation strategies, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, executive, and analytical skills are essential, as is a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and driving data-driven improvement initiatives. The role also requires the ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, OEMs, and strategic suppliers.
