Overview Manager, US Business Finance – Boston, MA. Lead financial planning, forecasting, and gross‑to‑net analysis for the US Commercial Business, turning advanced analytics into actionable executive recommendations that safeguard revenue integrity and fuel growth. Responsibilities Financial Planning and Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range planning. Prepare in‑depth GTN, expense, and actual analysis; identify risks, opportunities, and resource optimization. Ensure compliance with group reporting and drive planning improvement. Operating Expense Management: Build cost consciousness and lead targeted cost‑saving initiatives. Monitor spend trends, surface risks, and guide resource allocation to enhance ROI. Conduct monthly expense reviews and translate results into clear actions. Strategic Business Partnership: Serve as the primary finance partner to US Commercial Leadership for investment support and financial guidance. Evaluate pricing, payer agreements, and market‑access initiatives on net revenue and ROI. Analytics, Reporting and Insights: Produce performance reports using Excel, Power BI, and other platforms. Build executive presentations communicating trends, recommendations, and key drivers (volume, price, mix, cost). Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Align with Global Finance Services in Costa Rica and collaborate with Market Access, Contracting, Brand, Sales Operations, and Accounting teams to embed insights and maintain audit compliance. Process Improvement: Identify, design, and implement enhancements to planning, reporting, and GTN processes, including adoption of machine learning and AI. Promote standardization and efficiency across finance processes and systems. Qualifications Essential Skills & Experience B.S. Degree in Finance or Accounting 5+ years financial experience; pharmaceutical industry preferred Finance business partnering with influence and advice to commercial partners Knowledge of the US pharmaceutical operating model Strong FP&A background: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel (Power Query), and PowerPoint Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex finance data into actionable insight Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; presentation to senior leadership High accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities, ownership, and urgency in fast‑paced collaboration Desirable Skills & Experience Experience with Anaplan, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, or other advanced analytics platforms Familiarity with GTN analytics, revenue accounting, or Market Access Understanding of revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15/ASC 606) CPA qualification or progress toward certification Benefits The annual base pay ranges from $94,736.80 to $142,105.20. Positions offer eligibility for short‑term incentive bonuses, equity‑based awards for salaried roles, and commissions for sales roles.
