Job Description
Set-up and operate manual machines to perform machining operations.
Use crane or lifting equipment to move material. Saw or cut material for preparation of machining process.
Interpret drawings, sketches and engineering specifications to determine machining operations.
Use a variety of tools and equipment; micrometers, gauges, lathes, mills, and coordinate measuring machines.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
