**Job Title: Patient Services Representative** Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Patient Services Representatives to join our healthcare team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience. You will handle various administrative tasks and provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner. Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring all required forms and information are accurately collected and entered into the system. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers to optimize patient flow. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and medical staff, providing accurate information and assistance. Handle billing and insurance processing, verifying patient insurance coverage and ensuring accurate billing records. Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and provide guidance on office policies and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all health privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up appointments as needed. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations. Address and resolve any patient concerns or issues in a professional and empathetic manner. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred. Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic office software. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Problem-solving skills and a patient-centered approach to service. Bilingual skills a plus, but not required.
