Head of Enterprise Business Development About the Company Fast-growing provider of custom AI software solutions Industry Computer Software Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking an Enterprise Head of Business Development to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full sales pursuit, from initial outreach to closing, with a focus on building and managing long-term, high-value customer relationships. This role is not for the traditional SaaS seller; it requires a professional who can navigate the complexities of large, operations-heavy organizations and is adept at earning executive credibility and trust. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B enterprise sales, particularly in the context of complex, multi-stakeholder, and multi-month pursuits, and experience in selling custom software, digital transformation, AI solutions, or services-led enterprise software. Key responsibilities for the Enterprise Head of Business Development include turning ambiguous problems into clear commercial paths, with a strong emphasis on scope, milestones, success metrics, and risk posture. The role demands an individual with executive presence and credibility, capable of engaging with senior leaders across various functions. A portable network and credibility in relevant verticals such as manufacturing, industrial operations, utilities, energy, and logistics are essential. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, able to influence the go-to-market engine, and be prepared for a high level of autonomy and accountability.
