Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, aiming to prevent disability and enhance functional independence.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities using a range of diagnostic and prognostic assessments to inform therapy decisions.
• Oversee and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the therapy services delivered.
• Administer a suite of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescriptions, and modalities such as traction and massage.
• Evaluate the home environment for rehabilitation efficacy and suggest modifications to promote patient independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Participate actively as a member of the interdisciplinary team by attending case conferences aimed at evaluating and refining overall client treatment strategies.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding physical therapy techniques and the use of therapeutic devices.
• Stay current with applicable state regulations and compliance standards related to physical therapy practices.
• Encourage and inspire clients by fostering a positive and motivating environment for recovery and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or related illnesses. Our clients range from young adults to seniors, each facing unique physical challenges. Your role will involve tailoring rehabilitation approaches to suit various conditions, ensuring that they receive the most effective care possible.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current Physical Therapy license in good standing in the state of Florida.
• At least one year of clinical experience in an acute care or home care setting.
• Strong clinical reasoning and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• An enthusiastic attitude towards patient-centered care and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with home-based rehabilitation or outpatient therapy settings is preferred.
• CPR certification in accordance with current healthcare protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
