Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by reviewing relevant medical history, performing physical assessments, and determining appropriate rehabilitation strategies.
• Communicate evaluation results and proposed treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Implement treatment protocols customized to individual patient needs, ensuring alignment with the latest healthcare advancements and protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and refer patients for medical or rehabilitation consultation.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary records reflect the patient's comprehensive care journey, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans.
• Efficiently manage your schedule and patient caseload to meet productivity targets while maintaining high standards of care.
• Engage in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote the services of the facility and educate the public about the importance of physical therapy.
• Contribute to departmental goals by participating in team meetings, collaborating with staff on quality improvement projects, and adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance your professional skills and maintain clinical competence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help guide patients of all ages as they navigate their recovery processes and work to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field required.
• Current valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical physical therapy environment is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
