Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess functional capabilities and develop customized treatment plans that focus on restoring mobility and function.
• Implement therapeutic interventions under the guidelines established by physicians, focusing on pain relief, muscle strengthening, and functional improvement.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring that treatment plans are executed effectively and adjustments are made as necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and physical agent modalities, providing clear instructions and motivation to clients to foster compliance and engagement in their rehabilitation.
• Evaluate client environments to identify barriers to recovery, making appropriate recommendations for modifications to enhance independence and safety.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation, including progress notes and care plans, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring continuity of care.
• Partake in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases, share insights, and recommend updates to treatment strategies.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families on the use and maintenance of therapeutic devices, as well as overall care strategies.
• Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in continual professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida in good standing.
• CPR certification, with strong adherence to safety protocols.
• A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance for travel to community-based clients if necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
