We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time role at Ace Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center based in Immokalee, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including thorough reviews of pertinent health histories, physical assessments, and diagnostic information to formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring participation in setting and achieving rehabilitation goals.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on thorough evaluations, continually adapting strategies to align with the evolving needs of patients and healthcare best practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient progress, documenting any changes in the patient's condition and modifying care plans as necessary.
• Manage discharge planning processes and provide comprehensive follow-up care guidance, maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Manage time effectively and meet productivity standards while regularly participating in departmental meetings and community outreach initiatives to promote our services.
• Contribute actively to the development of departmental goals, compliance with accreditation standards, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your clinical skills and may serve as a mentor or clinical educator for students and new team members.
• Facilitate an exceptional patient experience by demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a strong commitment to service excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions affecting movement and strength. You will work with diverse individuals, including athletes, seniors, and post-operative patients, all with unique needs that require specialized rehabilitation approaches. Your expertise will significantly contribute to their recovery journey, helping them regain mobility and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Must possess a valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Certification: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: Prior work experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred but not required; we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow.

Preferred Experience

• Background or exposure to outpatient orthopedics.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care efficiently.
• Experience with patient education and empowerment strategies in rehabilitation settings.
