Work Environment

This role is situated in an outpatient office setting in Immokalee, Florida, a vibrant community that embraces diversity and supports health and wellness initiatives. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a collaborative environment where your contributions are appreciated and recognized. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, assessing functional limitations, strength, and mobility deficits.

• Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations, ensuring they align with current best practices and the specific needs of each patient.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, adjusting techniques as needed to address changes in a patient's condition and promote effective recovery.

• Document patient care activities meticulously, maintaining clear and organized records that reflect their treatment journey, progress, and outcome measures.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Provide education to patients and families about their conditions, treatment options, and exercises to facilitate recovery and promote long-term health.

• Participate in ongoing team meetings, rounds, and professional development workshops to ensure adherence to corporate standards and stay updated on industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes individuals with various orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and general mobility challenges. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential.

• Current CPR certification is necessary to ensure patient safety during care interventions.

• Adept interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to connect with patients, fostering trust and effective communication.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
