Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients with functional limitations and disabilities, developing tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and overall physical health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care, providing insights and consulting on patient treatment options.
• Maintain exemplary patient interaction, demonstrating sensitivity to cultural and age diversity while adhering to our organization's customer service standards.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and regularly re-evaluate treatment efficacy, making adjustments as needed based on patient progress and clinical standards.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards; submit service charges in a timely manner.
• Engage in community outreach and program development efforts, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and help mentor support staff, students, and other therapists.
• Stay informed on the latest evidence-based practices by attending staff meetings, in-service training, and continuing education opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, ensuring effective utilization of departmental resources and the highest quality of care for our patients.
• Participate in discharge planning in collaboration with patients, their families, and physicians, ensuring a smooth transition to independence or further care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from sports-related injuries, and patients managing chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will enable you to evaluate and treat patients of all ages and backgrounds, helping them regain function and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy in Florida is required to practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with additional experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or specialized therapy practices will be given preference. Experience in mentoring and leading sessions is also highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
