Work Environment

You will work onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Immokalee, Florida, where a collaborative team of healthcare professionals supports your efforts in delivering therapy. Working a Monday to Friday schedule, you will be engaged in performing therapy sessions, participating in team meetings, and contributing to overall clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring compliance with the physician's recommendations.
• Provide education and consultation to patients and their families to facilitate understanding of treatment processes and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and billing information.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to explore multidisciplinary approaches in patient care.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute to clinic metrics to ensure organizational success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical practice will primarily focus on patients with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Additionally, you may treat pediatric and neurologic patients, providing a varied and enriching experience. We value compassionate care and expect our therapists to build strong rapport with patients to help them overcome physical challenges and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Hold an active state license in Physical Therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in computer systems for documentation.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with patients and demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Previous work with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics.

Compensation and Benefits
